INTRODUCTION
This
presentation for Internet users includes several books, declarations and
summaries, introducing the reader to an entirely new approach toward the
phenomenon of life. Although each document has its own topic, they form
integral part of a new view of our existence and of current problems we are
faced with. For the first time, a comprehensive overview on Energon Research is
available online in the English language.
The first
book, „The Energon Theory“, is the result of
decades of intensive research and focusses on the energetic basis of life. After
four billion years of evolution, mankind is certainly not the climax of this
process. Are technology, economy, culture, etc. really something fundamentally
different from animals and plants? It seems that there are identical laws
underlying all forms of life including the cultural level of human life.
The second
book, the „Human Animal“, deals with the
question how much human behavior, our cultures, the economy, etc. are
determined by innate mechanisms. Up to what extent do we have a free will? Are
we really free in the decisions we take? This book gives a fascinating insight
into human ethology.
The third
book on „Hypercell Organisms“ is based on
Darwin’s „The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection“ and leads us
toward the new concepts of „Energon“ and „Hypercell Organisms“.
The brief
documents and summaries give an overview on the natural laws that determine
life including human development and culture. The final summary leads us back
to the starting point, i.e. current problems mankind is faced with, and to
possible solutions of these problems. The declarations included here were
presented on different occasions and directly address concrete solutions of
several of the world’s most pressing problems.
NOTE:
From
1937 to 1960 I was active as a submarine biologist and ethologist and became
one of the leading pioneers in diving and underwater filming. I organized
several expeditions to the still unknown water of Tropical Seas. In 1960 I
stopped diving and have concentrated since then on the topic of the evolution
of life. The three books now available on the website were the results of
decades of intensive research.
In 2001,
at the age of 83, I handed over my scientific materials in the field of
submarine research to my long time friend and advisor Michael Jung who founded
the Hans Hass Institute for Submarine Research and Diving Technology in Merzig
in Germany. All my scientific documentation in the field of Energon research
was given to the International Hans Hass Institute for Energon Research in
Vienna. It is located at the University of Vienna, at the Department of
Philosophy of Science.
I hope
that the online publications now available will lead to intensive scientific
discussions that are crucial for scientific progress. Therefore I had asked
prominent researchers, including Nobel laureates such as Konrad Lorenz and
Manfred Eigen about their opinion on Energon theory and I had offered a
substantial sum of money to the first person who would be able to refute
Energon theory. It is worth noting that Lorenz did not have any objection to
this theory. In order to further develop Energon theory, we will continue to
promote controversial and multidisciplinary discussions on this wide range of
topics, also with a view to provide a new basis for decision-makers in the
economy, in politics, etc. to solve today’s problems.
